Lift Your Jeep On The Cheap

A lot of people think that the only reason to lift a vehicle is to climb obstacles on the most difficult of off-road courses.  Certainly, a lifted vehicle is going to be able to meet off-road challenges that a stock vehicle simply can not.  But off-roading is not the only reason to invest in a Rubicon Express Lift Kit.  It is worth exploring some of the other benefits.

Lifting Vehicles To Extend Car Life

Okay, it would be easy to add a funny, snarky comment to the opening image where the white Jeep Cherokee sits so much taller in the parking lot than the dark Jeep Cherokee.  The pavement in the image is bone dry but imagine that the photo was taken in winter.  There might be snow on the ground.  And the owner of the store where the parking lot sits might decide to do her customers a solid and spread epson salt all over the parking lot in order to keep it from being icy.  This is very common practice in snowy climates, a practice that promotes rust in the undercarriage of vehicles.   Here is an image of a Jeep that is about to get the Rubicon Extreme Duty Long Arm lift kit installed.  First the mechanics had to blow torch nearly every bolt and nut as they were rusted solid after long exposure to winter salt water.  The higher your Jeep sits off the ground, the less exposure it will have to salt water in winter, the longer vehicle life you will enjoy.

Lets Face It, Those Fat Tires Are Styling

Here is a video of a 2010 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited uploaded by a guy calling himself BurtonBoarderJ72.    If Burton's Youtube channel is any indication, his off-road experience is as limited as his Rubicon is Unlimited. Burton's just basically showing off the Jeep Rubicon Unlimited in the video.  And why shouldn't he, the car looks HOT.  He has 33x12.5x18 Nitto Mud Grapplers tires with 18" KMC XD Addict Wheels and the look is head-turning.  Burton would not have been able to fit that tire/wheel combination on his Jeep Rubicon had he not first installed a Rubicon Express Budget Boost.  Well, maybe he would have but each time he took a sharp corner the tires would be rubbing. Now, whatever corners or potholes Burton faces, he's got those Rubicon Express Shocks to smooth his ride.

Overcoming Your Fears

There are those who have wanted to get a lift kit for some time but fear has kept them from going through with it.  They feared that their wallet would take to deep of a hit.  They also feared that after they made the purchase the installation would be too complicated for them.  With the Rubicon Express Budget Boost all fears are assuaged.  The Budget Boost is affordable and the installation is doable.  In fact, over at the 4x4Explore blog there is a very detailed tutorial on installing the Rubicon Express Budget Boost that is worth checking out just to see how doable the installation actually is.
